The 23^rd annual Dr Martin Luther King Memorial Services will be held at Temple Emanu-EL on Monday, January 18, 2010 beginning at 1pm.  The MLK Jr. Association of Westfield is honored to announce Rabbi Charles A. Kroloff as the guest speaker for the program.  Rabbi Kroloff has an extensive resume including positions held locally, state level, colleges, as well as an author of several books.

There will be several awards given to students for art work, poetry, and essays.  Entries are open to any elementary or high school student who lives in or attends a Westfield school.  The theme for this year's program is "Individual Responsibility". All entries should include the student's name, grade, and school and be forwarded to the main office of the student's school by Thursday, January 7^th.  Essays should be between 200 and 400 words and should be typed or neatly written.  Any artwork will be returned to the student, however, poetry and essays will not be returned.
